Ron Anderson has always been a trend setter. After attending Ohio State University, Ron entered the field of optometry. His entrepreneurial spirit became evident when he developed and obtained patents for two contact lens cleaners which were approved by the FDA and are still on the market today. His credits also include co-inventing the only contact lens cleaning method ever approved by Medicare.
With his success in the medical field, Ron acquired a passion for exotic cars. He began importing and exporting automobiles made exclusively by Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Aston Martin, for buyers like himself with distinctive tastes. One of his first high profile clients was Sylvester Stallone who challenged Ron to design and build a custom bus that could meet his unique taste. After successfully building Stallone’s custom coach, Ron decided to pursue others desiring custom high end buses.
In 1987 Ron created Star Trax Celebrity Coaches which was a premier custom coach maker. His impressive list of clients include Will Smith, Vin Diesel, Brad Pitt, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jim Carrey, Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford, Adam Sandler, Ice Cube, Charlie Sheen, Sylvester Stallone, Whitney Houston, Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, Penny Marshall, Micky Rourke, Shakira, New Kids on the Block, Clint Black, Oscar De La Hoya, and Former President Bill Clinton...to name a few.
Star Trax to Anderson Mobile Estates
In July 1999 after selling Star Trax Celebrity Coaches Ron Anderson took a year off to sail around the globe with his wife and children. While at sea, Ron finalized the concept of a two-story expanding mobile trailer equipped with "yacht like" qualities and luxuries. It would be marketed to individuals with fine taste and those seeking remote on-location trailers. working celebrities.
Upon returning to the United States, Ron created Anderson Mobile Estates to develop his two-story trailer concept. Not long after, he obtained patents for his design and built a prototype, which eventually became the The Studio Mobile Estate, which was later sold to A-List Actor Will Smith.
